God, His Infinite Existence and Governing Presence in His creation and His forgiveness of sin
The Catholic Creed: Jesus and Mary – the truth
Jesus and Mary – the truth
From the First Century Eucharistic Liturgy of St.
James of Jerusalem.
James of Jerusalem.
“Make the end of our lives Christian, acceptable,
blameless, and peaceful, O Lord, gathering us together, O Lord Jesus Christ Our
Only Lord and Saviour, under the feet of Thee joining us with Thine elect, when
Thou wilt, and as Thou wilt; only without shame and transgressions, through Thy only-begotten Son Jesus Christ; for He
is the only sinless one who hath appeared on the earth, a propitiation for
our transgressions and the errors of the people; and for the rest of the souls
that have fallen asleep aforetime; that we also, Thy humble, sinful, and
unworthy servants, being counted worthy without guile to serve Thy Holy Altar,
may receive the reward of faithful and wise stewards, and may find grace and
mercy in the terrible day of Thy just and good retribution. For the peace and
establishing of the whole world, and of the holy churches* of God, and for the
purposes for which each one made his offering, or according to the desire he
has; and for the people standing round, and for all men, and all women at the
moment of conception and all Thy repentant.”

St.
James makes it absolutely adamantly clear that Jesus Christ is the ONLY sinless
one. The so-called sinlessness of Mary is a late medieval myth and yet another
attempt to make her a goddess.

James’ Liturgy, composed by him in the first century by the inspiration

It is absolute -
“…Son Jesus Christ; for He is
the only sinless one who hath appeared
on the earth…”
“…Son Jesus Christ; for He is
the only sinless one who hath appeared
on the earth…”
Jesus Christ is the only sinless one who has appeared on
earth. Mary is not the immaculate. Only that, she immaculately conceived by the
sovereign power of the Holy Spirit, not by any power of hers, the Immortal son
of God Jesus Christ on earth. Jesus Christ’s conception was Immaculate – NOT
Mary’s conception from her mother.

Church Father Pope St. Gregory the Great, one of the four
great western doctors of the church, in his 39th Epistle, To
Eulogius, Patriarch of Alexandria, who Pope St. Gregory the Great taught
elsewhere was an equal Petrine Bishop and Patriarch to Himself, quoting Mark
11:13 and John 2:4 “Woman, what have I to do with thee?
Mine hour is not yet come.” (words of the verse supplied by Pope St.
Gregory the Great), emphatically states that only in His divine nature from God
the Father does Jesus Christ possess the knowledge of prophecy especially of
the date of His Second Coming which knowledge He shares with the other two
Persons of the Trinity - but they do not reveal this to anyone else; further
Pope St. Gregory the Great teaches that ONLY from God the Father does His Son Jesus
Christ receive the power to perform miracles and from His mother, Mary, He only
receives the ability to die. Pope St. Gregory the Great is absolutely
unreservedly emphatic in this; Mary is not a prophetess nor is she source of
nor does she share in Jesus Christ’s power of miracles nor in His knowledge of
Prophecy. Mary has none of the attributes of the Divine Immortal alone
possessing Aseity All Holy Immortal from everlasting to everlasting God, the
Blessed and Undivided and Ubiqutos All Present and Almighty Trinity, the Father
and the Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, the Paraclete sent by the Father
and the Son. Her only prophecy is the inspired prayer (by the sovereign action
of the Holy Spirit) she makes when she accepts God’s proposal that she bear His
Son Jesus Christ upon earth, subsuming flesh from her: the Magnificat, Luke
1:46-55.

And when he was come to it, he found nothing but leaves: for it was not

As he spoke to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed, for ever.”
As he spoke to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed, for ever.”
The
seed is the Only Engendered One of God from before all time and creation, Jesus
Christ – seed refers to His taking flesh from the virgin Mary. This is Mary’s
ONLY prophecy ever and it came ONLY because of the sovereign power of the Holy
Spirit, Third Person of God the Sovereign and Almighty Trinity.
