Jews called in Christ: St. Paul

Jews called in Christ: St. Paul

St. Paul when he was Saul of Tarsus, a Jew and a Pharisee and an Israelite of the tribe of Benjamin, was after Pentecost the first called as an Apostle of Christ to both Gentiles and the Synagogue as well.

St. Paul's history.

St. Paul was responsible for over half of the New Testament. The Gospel he preached was recorded by St. Luke in the Gospel According to St. Luke and the Acts of the Apostles again written by St. Paul's companion, St. Luke. All of St. Paul's Epistle's are his. The Epistle of St. Paul to the Hebrews was written by St. Paul in Hebrew and translated by the equally divinely inspired writer, St. Luke, into Greek. It is this Greek text we have of the Epistle of St. Paul to the Hebrews.
